Somewhere Down The Line

The air is softer on my morning drive
round the corner, leftly at the light
a career day-job more or less alive
before we get there, all we have is time

Spots of resting all day and night
Try to sleep now, quieter on the flight
Jacket, black sweater, pillow, socks,  sweats
Three half hours - clutching to what he gets

Unlock the bike and straddle the seat
Darkened storefronts, find something to eat.
Familiar path or something new?
How do you choose when all there is is you
Do you choose when all there is is you

6...5.6...5.6...5.1...5.6...5.3...1.2...5.4.....

// this one is strings for sure. Building loops maybe. Another layer each time? 2 different sections, singing and playing each time. An etude in singing and playing in tune haha
